Ok, So I decided to post something different, I have a few more sunrise/sunset photo's to post but I wanted to break it up a little. When I saw this pelican sitting on this sign I just knew I needed to capture it, I know there is a large amount of CRAP all over the sign but hey what can you do.
I think this pelican flew into my fishing line maybe 4 or 5 times in one hour, I kept trying to scare it away so it wouldn't get caught in my line but that thing wouldn't stop flying within a few feet of me.
Well my basement Sump Pumps have finally Stopped running...... About time, Now for the cleanup to begin.

Thursday of the ice storm I didn't take a single photo as I was disgusted and tired from bailing water out of the basement. I finally admitted defeat Friday morning when my bar was standing in 4 inches of water and our house was a lovely 38 degrees.
At that point I went to find someplace with power and have a beer and a sammich. Snapped this on the way to a bar in a town that had power.
Two hours later we finally had power, the sump pump was able to kick on and empty most of the water from the bar. I'll need to toss the carpet and do some serious cleanup before any beers are consumed there.
